Add height to a traditional valve box while seamlessly blending into desert landscapes with the 14 in. X 19 in. Standard Series Sand Valve Box Extension and Cover. Stack extension on top of an existing 14 in. X 19 in. irrigation valve box to extend the overall height, or use alone for shallow installations to protect valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation system components. Engineered with structural reinforcing ribs, the sand extension box and sand cover are built to stand up to the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and debris from entering the valve box to keep the area clean and is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. The extension is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 40% recycled materials; the lid is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 50% recycled materials. Both the extension irrigation valve box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
