Description

Add height to a valve box that sits deeper in the ground with the 14 in. X 19 in. Valve Box Extension and Cover. Half the height of a traditional valve box, the extension works as a riser and sits on top of an existing valve box or can be used alone in shallow installations to cover and protect valves, control zone kits, and other irrigation system components. Engineered with structural reinforcing ribs, the black extension box and green cover are built to stand up to the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. The overlapping lid blocks dirt and debris from entering the valve box to keep the area clean, and is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. The extension is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using 100% recycled materials; the lid is made of polypropylene (PP) using a combination of virgin and recycled materials. Both the extension irrigation valve box and lid are treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking from sun exposure.
