Engineered for durability, the black valve box and green cover are designed with structural reinforcing ribs to withstand damage from the elements, pedestrian traffic, lawn care equipment, and potential vandalism. The jumbo valve box features a pipe hole to make direct irrigation pipe connections. Rectangular lid is marked for Irrigation Control Valve (ICV) use. Convenient slot makes lid easy to lift with a flathead screwdriver. Irrigation box is made of polypropylene (PP) using 100% recycled materials; lid is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) using a combination of virgin and recycled materials.
