    Bonnie Plants Red Beefsteak Heirloom Tomato makes a great addition to any garden, big or small. These plants produce large bright red tomatoes that grow in size from 14-24 ounces with plants that may reach up to 48 inches tall in height. Their vigorous vines grow best in tall cages with support. Tomato plants should be spaced 36 inches apart. Red Beefsteak Heirloom Tomatoes are grown for their flavor and size making them perfect for slicing and making summer sandwiches extra delicious. Red Beefsteak Heirloom Tomatoes continue to grow and produce tomatoes all along the stems throughout the growing season. Plants mature at least 90 days after planting and should be planted in spring or summer. Water regularly, aiming for at least an inch of moisture per week, more in the summertime. Feel the soil; if the top inch is dry, it’s time to water. These tomatoes are resistant to fusarium wilt and nematodes.
