Description
The TowSmart Hitch Extension is designed to provide extra towing clearance behind tow vehicles. The heavy-duty steel construction is extremely durable with a black powder coat finish that is corrosion resistant and provides superior protection from the outdoor elements. Features a pre-drilled pin hole that accepts locking or non-locking hitch pins. Provides a built-in collar for added strength. Accepts most 2 in. x 2 in. ball mounts and is commonly used to extend your existing receiver. Using the hitch extender will reduce the towing capacity by 33%. It is important to know the total weight of the trailer (GTW) you are towing and the maximum towing capacity determined by the vehicle manufacturer.
