Description

A favorite for Southern landscapes and resembling the boxwoods of early American gardens, the ‘Schillings Dwarf offers very clean, small, dark green foliage and a high heat tolerance. Its dense growth and natural symmetrically mounded shape is the best reason for utilizing this hardy, insect and disease free shrub. Ideally suited for a low growing plant near the home foundation yet equally attractive as a low filler plant in the mixed shrub border while just superb as a low hedge. When planted in mass, the shrubs become a tall ground cover. Tiny white flowers in early summer are not showy.
