Description

A wow worthy plant that thrives in shade and blooms too. This evergreen clump forming tropical perennial has distinctive stunning round shiny leaves that resemble tractor seats or lily pads. Clusters of daisy like yellow flowers appear in late fall or early Winter on branched stems, hovering over the glossy foliage. Widely sought after for textural contrast in shady woodland gardens, boggy areas, pond banks, container gardens and for the back of a perennial border. Evergreen in warm Winter climates, the tropical foliage dies to the ground when temperatures fall below freezing. Best grown in moist soils that never dry out. Rarely troubled by pest or disease.
