Description

Nannyberry or Lentago Viburnum is known as a native variety that is a great source of fruit for backyard wildlife. The small tree or shrub is covered with flowers in late spring that when matures provide deep blue fruit clusters that become a glossy later in the fall. The ovate leaves emerge as a soft yellow, to a deep green, to a purplish-red in the fall. Hardy in USDA zones 2 to 8.
