Description

This elegant dwarf tree fern brings a unique architectural presence to the garden with its rosette of bright green, arching fronds attached to a short trunk. Native to rainforests, it enjoys warm, humid weather, consistent moisture and shade cast from taller plants above. This fern grows well in containers. It can be grown outdoors year round in zones 10 and 11, but otherwise it can be used as a houseplant. In zones 9 and lower, move the plant outdoors for the summer and then bring it indoors as a houseplant for the winter or treat it as a houseplant all year.
